was inspired mid week to finally do a soft natural light photoshoot with a friend of mine, Shanita, that i’ve been trying to do for a while.
I’ve been feeling quite rust recently from my last few shoots, but I think this was what I needed to get back in the game!
Had the opportunity to help record a video/blog type deal with my cousin this past week. here are some stills from the time we spent.. Planning on having the finished product up by next wednesday!
i teach at oakwood adventist academy, and the choir gave a christmas concert this evening. a few of the students i taught last year are in the choir this year, so that gave me even more reason to come out and support.. and of course take some photos!

we first met at this fresh little resturaunt, Tugs, in Memphis… Kedon sat down and was the most chill, laid back yet confidant brotha. It was in stark contrast to the bubbling bundle of joy and smiles that sat directly next to him. As we began to talk more, I could see in spite of his cool over tone, he truly finds joy in seeing Toni-Ann overflowing with joy. And that balance and romantic playfulness was what I was able to capture that evening… the way she looks at him and a huge smile can’t HELP but come across her face, and the, oh so cool way he chuckles and holds her dear… LOVE these guys!!
